The rubbings were taken from the nine-panel green limestone relief titled Nontransparent Monument installed on the roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York from April to October 2006. The artist produced an edition of 20 along with 4 artist's proofs. These five charcoal rubbings are a complete set .
