Condition

The canvas has been relined. There are areas of bitumem separation to the dark pigment in the foreground and patches of paint separation throughout. There is a stretcher mark to the upper edge and craquelure to the figure. Ultra violet light reveals no sign of retouching. Held in a decorative gold painted frame.
