Both full length, in a landscape, one wearing a pink dress, the other wearing a white dress 

Condition

The canvas has been relined. There is scattered surface dirt and craquelure, partiicularly to the skin tones of the children. Also a number of small scattered chips to the paint in the lower left corner. Ultraviolet light reveals some retouching to the hand of the girl and back of the boy although an opaque varnish prevents a conclusive examination. Held in a decoarive plaster gilt frame.
