Condition
Original canvas. The canvas is quite thin. There is a jagged tear to the canvas with some resulting paint loss (approx 4cm) to the centre of the upper right quarter. There are further tiny pinhead sized holes scattered to the fruit and specs of paint loss to the brown pigment to the left of the top three apples. There is craquelure to the brown pigment towards the upper edge. Ultra violet light reveals scattered specs of retouching. Held in a decorative gold painted frame.
