Condition
The canvas is original but is very loose on the stretcher and undulates throughout. The canvas would benefit from being re-stretched. There is a stretcher mark to the upper edge. There is some craquelure throughout and paint separation to the figure. There are a few scattered chips of paint loss to the upper edge. There is a small hole to the centre of the right edge and some light surface dirt. There is evidence of two patches of repaired damage to the reverse.
