Condition

Original canvas. There si a stretcher mark along the lower border and resultant paint loss running along the lower border. Also some paint flaking to the sleigh in the foreground and central nun. Minor scattered spots of paint loss elsewhere. Ultraviolet light reveals a thick border of retouching along the lower border, a line running across the upper edge and some scattered spots elsewhere.
