Condition
Original canvas. There are some spots of paint loss to the lower right corner and a spec to the centre of the figure's chest. There is also frame abrasion to the lower edge. There is some paint separation above the figures' head and further patches of craquelure throughout. Ultra violet light reveals the suggestion of retouching underneath the varnish. Held in a decorative gold painted frame.
