Condition

The canvas has been relined. There is a patch of craquelure to the man on the far left and scattered craquelure elsewhere. Otherwise in good overall condition. Ultraviolet light reveals a line of retouching to the upper edge, some retouchign to the arm of the man on the left and minor spots elsewhere. Held in a decorative plaster gilt frame; under glass and unexamined out of frame.
