Condition
The canvas has been relined. There is a small vertical line of retouching just above the signature, possibly addressing a repair in the canvas, and some further scattered strokes of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the obelisk and in the sky, otherwise the paint surface is overall in good condition. Held in a decorative plaster moulded gilt frame.
