Cette cuiller figurative se distingue par la très belle fluidité de ses lignes. A la plénitude du cuilleron peu profond répond, à l'autre extrémité, la tête aux courbes tendues, associant des traits humains stylisés à ceux d'un oiseau calao, dont le long bec arqué rejoint la face interne, plane, du manche. Superbe patine sombre, due à son usage prolongé et à l'enfumage dans la cuisine où elle était conservée, brun rouge et brillante sur les reliefs et sur les zones de frottement avec la corde servant à la suspendre.

Good condition overall. Wear consistent with age and use within the culture. Some old superficial scratches and nicks. Ears slightly rubbed.
