The sculpture is well carved with a fine age patina. Original mercury gilding is worn on areas, revealing the bronze, but intact otherwise, especially on the reverse. The figure is covered with old dust and would benefit from a professional cleaning. There are traces of blue pigments in the hair and red on the hair's crown. The front of the base is bent inwards but intact. the vase held in the hands of the figure is missing. The 18th Century champlevé enamel base with overall wear, the enamels in fairly good state. The fabric covering the wood plank on which the figure sits is distressed.
