représenté debout sur une base circulaire en forme de lotus, les pieds nus, les mains en abhaya et varadra mudra, gestes du don et de l'absence de crainte, la tête couronnée d'une haute tiare incrustée de turquoises, coiffé d'un haut chignon, vêtu d'une longue robe fluide, au "drapé mouillé" élégant recouvrant les épaules et retombant en plis concentriques en forme de U, la bordure finement incisée, pigments bleu sur les cheveux
Condition
In overall good condition. The makari gilding is well perserved. There seems to be an old repair at the base of the thumb of the left hand. Seven inlaid stones are missing from the head crown as well as one on the left earring (shown on the illustration of the catalogue). Some minor wear on the face and traces of red pigment on the lips. The hair with traces of blue pigment, and remains of red pigment behind the head crown. An inventory number : C.762 below the left foot as well as below the base. The consecration compartment is sealed with elements inside the base.
