Description
of broad shallow form with flattened rim on a short foot, decorated in shades of underglaze blue with, in the centre, a double line medallion with a rampant dragon with a long foliated tail against a scale ground with each scale enclosing a flowerhead repeated on the rim, the cavetto with alternating flowerheads and trilobes linked by an undulating band, the back with a frieze of stylised leaves and flowers, the base with pseudo-Chinese marks
