Overall good condition, border illumination contemporary though in different hand, fine illumination, lot as viewed.

Catalogue Note

After the sons of Fereydoun waged war on their brother Iraj and slaughtered him (see previous lot), Fereydoun sent his successor, the Persian King Manuchehr to slay Tur and his army. The Persian-Turanian war resulted in the death of Tur and the establishment of Manuchehr as the undisputed king of Persia.
