Wax lining. Surface has flattened craquelure and some thinning, particularly at upper left; surface dirt throughout. Under UV light: a round area of inpainting, possibly a repair, with a few other areas of inpainting aroud it at center of left edge; two other areas of inpainting at center of canvas and a few others in the sky at upper right.
