Description
circa 1830, the thick walled vessel with concave base, tall rounded sides and tapering rim, painted over a worn tan slip in red and black, with a series of leaves, trefoils and arches separated by diagonal and vertical stripes, flanked by parallel bands, and surmounted by a frieze of scalloped arches.
