An Acoma Polychrome Jar

circa 1890, of deep flaring form with concave base and tapering neck, painted in red, orange and black against a chalky white slip, with four diamonds enclosing squares with hatched and scalloped details, within a field of leaves, bisected lozenges and other geometric devices.
