carved in the form of swimming sea creature, with mouth open and inset with plaques of abalone as teeth, flared nostrils, pointed oval eyerims inset with abalone, similar inlays on the front and hind flippers, tiny white glass beads inset in the flanks, tail and along the back, a series of oval ivory inlays on the rim.
