in the form of a reclining wolf, carved in relief and grasping in its paws a deep ovoid vessel with a flattened rim, the head, with broad open mouth, bared teeth, short bulbous snout, pronounced circular eye rims and backswept ears, the openwork paws and tail curved and pulled towards the body; a rich dark patina overall.
