A Large Haida Argillite Panel Pipe

of classic openwork form, very finely carved with a reclining bird, with a long curving beak, supporting two additional birds and a wolf on its flattened stomach, flanked by two humanoid creatures, their heads thrust sharply backwards, additional totemic figures on the tapering end.
