the deep ogee bowl finely engraved on one side with a seated lady holding a fan, a gallant to her side offering her a flower from a vase of flowers, flanked by a tree with a perching exotic bird, a peacock and landscape vignettes, the reverse with a coat-of-arms surmounted by a coronet, within a scrolling foliate rococo cartouche with fruit swags and cherub above, the rim cut with gilt raised palmettes, the faceted base over a faceted knop and tall section above a contemporary conical foot with radial cut base, the edge engraved with stiff-leaves
