the flared bowl cut with facets around the base and decorated on one side with a view of a large house beneath a rayed sun, the reverse inscribed Heut trifft mein Engelskind, mein A.E. Emckens ein. die sol stäts meine Sonn, in meinem Hause sein. Der 17. April sol kümfftig mir im leben. Ein stäts vergnügten tag, durch dieses denckmahl geben. Anno 1750, all within an elaborate rococo cartouche, the faceted baluster stem over a folded conical foot engraved with a floral band
