Description

  • 18.9cm., 7 3/8 in.
the deep ogee bowl engraved with an equestrian portrait below a banderole inscribed VIVAT. FRIDERICUS. BORUSSORUM.REX, flanked by martial trophies and two allegorical figures of Peace and Justice, with vignettes of military encampments to one side, the reverse with the arms of Prussia, all below a gilt band to the rim, above a faceted baluster stem and conical foot engraved with stiff-leaves around the shaped rim, the underside cut with a band of polished ovals
