the deep three-sided ogee bowl engraved on two sides with formal geometric foliate scroll, strapwork and baskets of fruit, the other inscribed Wer schirt sich umb den Neid und umb die Läster Zunge / Wer Ehr und Rädlich lebt der denckt wie Goldschmidts Junge, divided by honeycomb faceted panels, set on a faceted baluster stem and conical foot engraved with a stiff-leaf border and rosette-cut base, the domed cover similarly decorated below the faceted finial
