- 30.3cm., 11 7/8 in.
the flared bowl cut with six panels, one with the monogram CFvB below a coronet, within a rococo cartouche surmounted by a putto holding a wreath and palm frond, supported by a cherub, two further panels engraved with pairs of putti either as musicians or flag bearers above swags of fruit, alternating with panels of elaborate formal geometric scroll enclosing vignettes of hunting, a harbour scene and buildings in a landscape, below a lambrequin border, set on a baluster stem cut with layered facets, over a conical foot engraved with foliate scroll, the underside cut with oval flutes, faceted rim, the flattened domed cover similalrly engraved and cut with six panels below a faceted bud finial
