the ovoid bowl cut with a rectangular medallion painted with a view of a building above dense woodland, a ruin to one side, all within a frame of fine cut diamonds, the reverse with three panels divided by pillar flutes, one cut with a polished lens within radial flutes, the other two filled with strawberry-cut diamonds, all above an octagonal waisted stem and disc foot cut on the underside with hobnail diamonds, the lightly domed cover cut with a band of raised diamonds below a ball finial cut with a star

At the beginning of the 16th century Schloss Fürstenstein was in the possession of Grafen Hochberg. It passed into the hands of Fürsten von Pleß.
