the deep cup-shaped bowl cut with an oval medallion painted with a view of buildings in a landscape, the remainder of the bowl cut with spiralling flutes, above a tall spreading faceted foot with scalloped edge and star-cut base

Catalogue Note
Schloß Fischbach was acquired by Prince Wilhelm of Prussia, the brother of Friedrich Wilhelm III, in 1822 and was one of the three princely castles in the Hirschberger Tal, the other two being Erdmannsdorf and Schildau.
