the waisted cylindrical form painted with a river and town, inscribed in gilding below Ansicht von Carlsbad in Böhmen, within an amber-stained rectangular panel with gilt foliate decoration, engraved on the reverse with Aus Dankbarkeit FM, below an amber-stained rim with gilt foliate sprigs under the gilt-edged rim, over a cogwheel foot with part amber-stained star-cut base
