Description

  • 12cm., 4¾in.
the waisted cylindrical form painted with a view of the park of the Palace of Schönbrunn, entitled Vue de la Gloriette au jardin de Schönbrun, within a rectangular amber-stained panel gilt with formal leaf borders, the reverse with a lateral amber band with meandering gilt vineleaf tendril, the gilt rim above gilt rosettes within a crenellated band, all above a cogwheel foot highlighted in gilding, amber-stained star-cut base

Condition

Some typical rubbing to the gilding on the rim and on the edges of the serrated foot, otherwise generally in good condition overall
