Attached to the reverse is a label inscribed with the artist's address c. 1918. There is some frame abrasion to all edges and dirt spots due to previous framing. There are some chips to the paint to the bottom of the left edge and a chip to the lower left corner. There is a diagonal mark to the left of the lower edge and a tiny spot of paper residue to the left of centre of the lower edge. There is surface dirt throughout. Ultra violet light reveals horizontal lines of retouching throughout the composition. Unframed.
