Condition

The canvas has been relined. There are some very small scuff marks to the central left edge. There are some slight rubbing marks to the top edge of the work. There is a small indentation to the back of the figure in the lower right corner. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals some minor spots of retouching. Held in a gilt wooden and plaster frame.
