Condition

The canvas is unlined. The painting is in overall good condition with thick impasto in some places. There is no sign of retouching under ultra-violet light. A few spots fluoresce on the reverse of the canvas but these do not correspond to anything on the front of the work. Held in a white painted wooden frame which has been flecked with black paint.
