Condition

The canvas is unlined. There are tiny spots of frame abrasion to the right edge but otherwise the painting is in excellent original condition. Under ultra-violet light no retouching is evident. Held under glass in a gilt-edged wooden frame with a cream cross-section and slip. The colours are true to the catalogue illustration.
