Condition
Executed on wove paper. The sheet is sound and is slightly undulating and the paper has slightly discoloured. There is a vertical crease down the centre of the sheet and the sheet is slightly torn along the crease by 1in. at the bottom and by ΒΌ in. at the top of the sheet. There are pinholes along the upper and lower edges, handling marks to the edges and some scattered spots of foxing and staining. There are some old scuff marks to the surface in the upper right corner and the upper edge appears to be slightly uneven from an old horizontal tear that is hidden beneath the mount. Otherwise in good overall condition with strong colours throughout.
Held in a simple painted wood frame with mount under glass; unexamined out of frame.
The colours are brighter and more vibrant than the illustration suggests.
