Catalogue Note

Chloe Cheese has collaborated with the Neal Street Restaurant since its inception, first designing the Cocktail and Dessert menus for Sir Terence Conran in the early 1970s. The present lots were commissioned by Antonio Carluccio for his publication Passion for Pasta (B.B.C Books, 1993) and in light of her close relationship with the restaurant, it is not surprising that Chloe was also asked to produce the artwork to celebrate 30 years of the Neal Street Restaurant in 2001.
