Condition

The canvas is unlined and appears to be providing a very good sound support. The paint surface also appears to be in excellent original condition, sound and stable throughout. There is a very faint run-off mark near the lower edge and several other dirty smudges in the same area - as such the work would benefit from a simple clean. Inspection under UV light does not reveal any later retouchings. Presented 'floated' within a simple white baton frame, dusty but otherwise in good sound condition.
