Condition
The canvas has been relined. There are a few small strokes of cosmetic retouching within the hedges in the background visible under ultraviolet light. There are a few spots of paint loss within the central tree and some light scuffs to the paint surface in the lower right corner, otherwise the paint surface is in good overall condition with bright colours throughout. Held in a plaster moulded gilt frame within a larger box frame.
