Condition

Original canvas. There are spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light to the left of the work above the girl's shoulder, to the bottom of her dress and to the extreme lower left edge corresponding to patched repairs to the canvas and a few small scattered spots elsewhere. There is a small scuff to the paint surface in the upper right corner, some faint craquelure is visible on close inspection and there is also a slight stretcher mark visible within the girl's dress. Held in a simple gilt wood frame.
