Condition
Original canvas. There are some tiny flecks of retouching to some of the figures to the left of the work, a spot of retouching in the centre foreground (corresponding to a small repair in the canvas) and a few small strokes to the backs of the two men to the right of the work visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from some faint craquelure and a few pinhead sized dots of paint loss, this work is in good overall condition and the artist's original impastos remain intact. Held in a plaster moulded frame.
