From a first inspection the pigments appear irregularly thin probably due to an old cleansing. The ultra violet light reveals some fluorescent varnish spread dishomogeneusly over the surface. There are retouches along the top central edge of the sky and along the right-hand side. There are two restorations each 4 cm long in the sky near the right-hand palace. Other two retouches are visible next to the dog in the center of the composition and along the perspective of the walk.
