Some very minor paintlosses just above the mountains on the right. No retouches visible under uv-light. This work would benefit from cleaning.

Catalogue Note

This work was probably painted during Claus' travels through Spain, Morocco and Algeria in 1879. Around thirty to forty of these studies and sketches were exhibited in Antwerp in 1880.
