Condition

Overall the condition of the terracotta is very good. There is some surface dirt and some wear to the surface. There are some very minor chips to the flowers.

Catalogue Note

The freshness, immediacy and quality of the modelling of this terracotta particularily in the flowers and the dove demonstrates the enormous amount of creative inspiration and effort that went into the each of Carrier's terracottas after they were removed from the mould.
