Off Scarborough STRUCTURE The canvas has been relined. PAINT SURFACE The paint surface is generally sound however there are traces of discoloured varnish. ULTRAVIOLET UV light reveals scattered flecks of infilling in the sky. FRAME Held in matching plaster gilt frames in fair condition. Off Dundee STRUCTURE The canvas has been relined. PAINT SURFACE The paint surface is sound; clean and ready to hang. ULTRAVIOLET UV light reveals flecks of infilling in the sea and overpainting in the sky. FRAME Held in matching plaster gilt frames with some chips to the giltwork.
