Description
well potted with deep rounded sides resting on a short straight foot and rising to a wide flared mouth, finely painted to the exterior with six large gold fish, their scales and fins delicately outlined in underglaze-blue and filled in shades of iron-red, swimming amid pondweed and other aquatic plants, between double-line borders at the rim and foot, the interior similarly decorated with a central circular medallion enclosing two gold fish within double-line borders repeated at the rim, the base inscribed with the six-character mark within a double circle
