Description
of bronze 'hu' form and flattened oval section, the pear-shaped body supported by a splayed foot, the shoulders flanked by a pair of stylised beast-head handles, the body divided on each side by a moulded raised strapwork band with four raised diamond-shaped lozenges where the bands cross, with a raised horizontal band encircling the neck set with a vertical flange on each side, covered overall with an even thick pale blue-grey glaze, the unglazed footring with a dark brown slip, the recessed base inscribed with the six-character mark seal mark in underglaze-blue
