comprising: a tapered cylindrical coffee pot applied and etched with a crane in flight, a beetle in Japanese gold, a curled leaf, a turtle within a wave, a parcel-gilt beetle, and a frog climbing the cover; a low creamer applied with a dragonfly in silver and Japanese gold, a similar maple leaf spray with seed pods, and a similar butterfly, and a sugar bowl with two drop handles, applied with an iris spray and two mixed metal crickets fighting, all on patinated copper bodies, the spout inlaid with ovals of silver and gold, the silver handle inlaid with red copper spots, the bases engraved with monogram HEM and date 1887, marked on bases and numbered 4755-1323/E6, -/874, and 5230-1323/875
