comprising three costumes from Thamar designed by Leon Bakst: two satin jackets, in vibrant purple and pink silk adorned with faux silver cartridges and silver braid; one with pair of wide yellow trousers together with a costume for a servante of pale blue and pale green satin with matching cap and length of blue stencil silk; and two ikat woven jackets and trousers for the Polovstian Boys from Prince Igor designed by Nikolai Roerich, edged in colourful tapestry banding and lined in floral printed cotton
