Zauner ganz den vorschriften der Censur angemessen..."), noting that he has himself written to Count von Kaunitz concerning criticism of the works in the Academy, thanking him for the printed material he has sent him and noting that he is returning the same with his letter

Rare. Autograph material by Gottfried van Swieten (1733-1808), one of Mozart's staunchest friends and patrons, is extremely rare at auction. Mozart was a regular participant in van Swieten's Sunday morning musical gatherings and was introduced by him to the music of J.S. Bach and Handel.
