The accompanying Extract from the Patek Philippe Archives confirms that this watch was manufactured in 1945 and sold on December 27th the same year.
Production of reference 570 began in 1938. As a rare over-sized calatrava, the model has become one of the most collectible wristwatches of its type. Primarily produced in yellow gold, examples in steel are extremely rare and few have appeared at auction.
