A Hawaiian bowl

‘umeke la ‘au, carved in hollowed hemispherical form, tapering slightly with a delicately ridged shoulder to the rim, two small circular repairs at the shoulder, one triangular wedge at the base; fine slightly glossy medium reddish to honey brown patina.

Collected in Hawai'i before 1930
